A family caregiver is anyone who provides a level of practical or emotional support to someone experiencing cancer. Caregivers share in the challenges and joys experienced in a loved one’s cancer journey. Many times caregivers put their needs and feelings aside to care for a loved one.

JamesCare for Life recognizes the important role of caregivers by offering resources including online support groups, videos and special programming.
- A monthly online Caregiver Support Group is held the second Wednesday of every month. Additionally, many disease-specific support groups are open to caregivers. View a complete guide to our support groups with dates, times and locations.
- The OSUCCC – James provides free grief support services to families and friends after the death of a loved one.
- The H.O.P.E. Program connects cancer patients or caregivers to someone who has had a similar experience with cancer.
- The James offers a variety of Parenting Support programs to cancer survivors and caregivers who are caring for children ages 3-18.
