Everything you need to know about parking at our main campus hospital or The James Outpatient Care

As the third largest cancer hospital in the country, you need to know that everyone at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) is committed to your comfort and care. This extends beyond the walls of our doctor’s offices and starts with giving you as stress-free an arrival as possible, including ease of parking.  

• Off-campus parking: Health care locations off The Ohio State University campus have free surface lot parking. Search our locations page to get a full list of services, directions, visitor information and parking details for specific locations.
• On-campus parking: For on-campus parking, patients and visitors can pay a reduced parking fee by getting their ticket validated.

If you have mobility concerns, contact your doctors’ office prior to your appointment for recommendations on parking and arrival.

Where to park

Handicapped (accessible) parking

Handicapped (ADA accessible) parking is available at all health care locations. Please note, you’ll need to pay the posted hourly parking rates and display your state-issued disability placard.

Parking recommendations by destination

Here are the best options for parking based on the location of your appointment. These recommendations are based on proximity. Please know you can choose to park in any open garage. If you don’t see your location listed below, go to our locations page.

Note: Health care locations off The Ohio State University campus have free surface lot parking.

Parking validation

For most patients and visitors, self-parking in a garage with a validated parking ticket is the most cost-effective option.

Parking garage costs

Parking costs are set by CampusParc, a private company that manages all parking facilities on the campus of The Ohio State University. To find current rates, please visit the CampusParc website.

Valet parking

Select locations offer valet parking services. As of June 1, 2024, the cost is $10 per day for valet parking. Call your doctor’s office, prior to your appointment, if you have mobility needs or questions.
