We are blown away by your generosity – and by the incredible mac and cheese offerings we got to sample at the event. Whether you cooked, ate or helped put the festival on, please know that you made a difference: our inaugural Columbus Mac and Cheese Festival raised more than $65,000 to #MacOutCancer for adolescents and young adults.
That money will go directly to support adolescent and young adult cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James), an area that desperately needs our help: More than 70,000 young people from the ages of 15 to 29 are diagnosed with cancer each year in the United States. These types of cancers are diagnosed six times more often than childhood cancers, and we need to find ways to stop them.
For those of you who were unable to attend the event, you can still donate today to support AYA cancer research.
Thank you for being a part of the cure. We can’t wait to see you next year!
