COLUMBUS, Ohio – Dr. Michael A. Caligiuri, director of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and CEO of the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute, will discuss the future of cancer research during a “fireside chat” at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 at the Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road in Columbus. Caligiuri will discuss cancer research, prevention, treatment and discoveries being made at Ohio State. The discussion will focus on how healthcare professionals are working together to find the answers that may help cure cancer. Attendees will also learn how other cancer patients have participated in clinical trials. Caligiuri’s chat is hosted by JamesCare for Life, which provides support for cancer patients through their journey with cancer, and for family and friends.
