COLUMBUS, Ohio – Community members are invited to attend a “fireside chat” about research in the areas of diet, nutrition and cancer with Dr. Steven Clinton, program leader of molecular carcinogenesis and chemoprevention at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Center and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James). The event will be held Sept. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fawcett Center, 2400 Olentangy River Road in Columbus. Clinton will discuss new discoveries through the “crops to the clinic” research efforts that integrate agriculture, food science and nutrition scientists at Ohio State with clinical investigators at OSUCCC-James. The event is sponsored by the Tressel Family Fund and hosted by JamesCare for Life, which provides support for cancer patients throughout their journey with cancer.
