Solove Research Institute COLUMBUS, Ohio – Dr. Ted Teknos, director of the division of head and neck oncologic surgery at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute is available for outside comment on research presented during the annual meeting of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery Foundation held in Boston Sept. 26-29. Teknos will be presenting research on head and neck reconstruction during the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Section of the meeting. He also will present an instructional course on head and neck reconstruction surgery during the meeting. His research interests in head and neck cancer include angiogenesis; refinements in micro-vascular reconstructive surgery; development of novel therapeutics for disease treatment; identification of serum and tissue tumor markers; and overcoming chemo-resistance.
