JamesCare for Life (JCFL) strives to help survivors and their families maintain their quality of life from the day of diagnosis and throughout the cancer journey. To ensure that every member of the family receives the best care, we involve children, teens and caregivers as vital members of the care team.
Our support programs and classes provide a safe environment where families, teens and children can:
- Learn about cancer and treatment options
- Build effective coping skills
- Improve communication
- Identify strengths
- Normalize anxiety and fear Meet other families on the survivorship journey
Through discussions, games, music and art activities, children and teens learn to express themselves and minimize fear and anxiety. Parents and caregivers are given the information, resources and support they need to help everyone in the family better cope with cancer survivorship.Register online for our families, teens and children’s programs today.
