As a member of the OSUCCC – James Cancer Control Program, Abigail Shoben, PhD, seeks better ways to design and analyze studies to improve clinical trials.In particular, she focuses on statistical methodology in clinical trials with correlated data, including longitudinal and group-randomized trials. Dr. Shoben has co-authored numerous articles appearing in peer-reviewed publications, such as Journal of General Internal Medicine, Statistics in Medicine and Contemporary Clinical Trials. She also has shared her work in presentations at multiple events, including Joint Statistical Meetings, the Society for Clinical Trials Annual Meeting and the International Biometric Conference.
