Dr. Alo Ray, PhD, is a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program at the OSUCCC – James. Dr. Ray’s research interests include understanding the role of DNA damage repair and cell cycle checkpoint pathways in tumor initiation and progression. Specifically, she focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms that will help developing novel treatment approaches for cancers. She is using multidisciplinary approaches to target the DNA damage repair and cell cycle checkpoint pathways with a goal to enhance the chemo-and radio-therapy of cancer patients. Dr. Ray has authored or co-authored numerous articles appearing in well-known publications such as Nature Genetics, PNAS, NAR, and MCB.
