Cancer Control

Cynthia Sieck, PhD, MPH is a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program. She is interested in how patients with cancer can utilize patient portals across the continuum of care.

Dr. Sieck is currently engaged in three research studies examining the use of the inpatient portal, MyChart Bedside, at OSUWMC and The James. These studies address inpatient needs and experiences. Given that the cancer experience is often resource intensive in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, She also explores how health systems can offer training to support patients with cancer across the continuum of care.
