Darrell Gray, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Ohio State and a member of the Cancer Control Program at the OSUCCC – James, where he also serves as deputy director of the Center for Cancer Health Equity.

His work is focused on community engagement in preventive health behaviors and interventions, and on understanding the interaction of the social determinants of health, public health and healthy policy in cancer prevention.

Dr. Gray has published articles in well-respected publications, including Journal of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network, Diseases of the Esophagus and Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.

He has also spoken about his work to medical students and others around the country, including presentations to the Minority Health Policy Annual Meeting at Harvard Medical School and Young Doctors DC at Howard University.
