Heather McGinty, PhD, is a member of the Cancer Control Program at the OSUCCC – James, where her research focuses on outcomes reported by cancer patients/survivors, including health-related quality of life, cancer-related distress, health disparities and cultural factors.

One of her recent projects includes the development and preparation of study protocols, statistical analyses and research presentations for three longitudinal quality-of-life studies of cancer patients.

Dr. McGinty has co-authored numerous articles in well-respected publications, including Psycho-Oncology, Journal of Clinical Oncology, Health Psychology and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
