As a member of the Cancer Control Program at the OSUCCC – James, Jennifer Kue, PhD, applies the principles of community-engaged research to understand and address disparities in cancer incidence, screening, treatment and mortality.

She also examines the influence of culture, refugee trauma and intergenerational communication on cancer screening and health behavior.

Dr. Kue’s work has resulted in more than a dozen journal articles in well-respected publications such as Journal of Cancer Survivorship, Cancer Nursing and Ethnicity & Health.

She also has shared her research in multiple presentations at such events as Society of Behavioral Medicine’s Annual Meeting and Scientific Sessions, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Research Congress and the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting and Expo.
