Jessica Krok-Schoen, PhD, is a member of the Cancer Control Program at the OSUCCC – James. Her research focuses on geriatric oncology, cancer survivorship and health disparities.
In particular, Dr. Krok-Schoen is interested in educational and behavioral interventions to improve cancer survivorship outcomes especially in older, underserved populations. One of her recent projects involves a three-part study on the appropriateness and implementation of survivorship care plans for older breast cancer survivors. Dr. Krok-Schoen has authored many articles in well-respected publications, including Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention, Journal of Aging and Health, Supportive Care in Cancer and Psycho-Oncology. She also has presented her research at conferences of national and international professional societies such as the Gerontological Society of America, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the International Society of Geriatric Oncology.Office Location
