As a member of the Cancer Control Program at the OSUCCC – James, Kristen Robinson Hoskinson, PhD, focuses her research on pediatric neuropsychology with an emphasis on improving the understanding of cognitive, emotional and behavioral conditions that result from neurologic injury, such as pediatric brain tumors.In particular, Dr. Hoskinson integrates neuroimaging methods with social and emotional functioning to improve early identification of children at elevated risk who can benefit greatly from intervention. One of her recent studies explores the neuroanatomical and functional correlations of social and adaptive difficulties in children who have been treated for pediatric brain tumors. Dr. Hoskinson is the co-author of numerous articles in well-respected publications, including Journal of Pediatric Psychology, Journal of Family Psychology and Pediatric Blood & Cancer.
