As part of The Ohio State University’s thyroid cancer group, he helped develop mouse models of benign and malignant follicular thyroid tumors that behave similarly to the human disease. Dr. Kirschner has co-authored many articles in well-respected publications, including Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology, Endocrine-Related Cancer, The Journal of Neuroscience and Science.
