Nam Young Lee, PhD, is a member of the OSUCCC – James Molecular Biology and Cancer Genetics Program. Dr. Lee’s research explores how transforming growth factor beta signaling regulates vascular functions during tumor development and metastasis.

Dr. Lee’s work scrutinizes the role of two endothelial-specific TGF beta receptors, endoglin and ALK1. This role is critical to predicting potential mechanisms of resistance and to identifying patients who are most likely to benefit from endoglin and ALK1-targeted or combination therapies.

Dr. Lee has co-authored several articles that have appeared in well-respected journals, including The Journal of Biological Chemistry and Oncogene.
