Nilsa Ramirez-Milan, MD, is a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program at the OSUCCC – James, where she focuses on histopathologic diagnosis of tumors.

She is also involved in the technology of preserving tissues for biologic research.

One of her recent studies indicates that a combination analysis of microsatellite instability, methylation and immunohistochemistry could be helpful in Lynch syndrome screening in endometrial cancer.

Dr. Ramirez-Milan has co-authored numerous articles in well-respected publications, including Gynecologic Oncology and Journal of Clinical Oncology.
