As a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program at the OSUCCC – James, Pravin Kaumaya, PhD, focuses his research on directing patient immune systems to recognize and kill their own cancer cells.

One of his recent studies of potential therapeutic agents for brain tumors reformatted the toxicity profile of cisplatin-diamminedichloroplatinum (cis-DDP) and demonstrated therapeutic efficacy of PEP455-Pt bioconjugate in F98 glioma-bearing rats.

Dr. Kaumaya has co-authored many articles in well-known publications, including the Journal of Immunology, Immunotherapy and Discovery Medicine.
