Dr. Dubey's lab studies the effect of castration on the immune microenvironment of prostate cancer. Using endogenous murine models of prostate cancer, we showed that castration promotes the recruitment and function of suppressive neutrophils and Tregs that promote castration-resistant prostate cancer growth. Current work focuses on development of a) immune therapies that remodel the tumor microenvironment, and b) personalized neo-antigen containing cancer vaccines.
