Robert Curley Jr., PhD, is a member of the Molecular Carcinogenesis and Chemoprevention Program at the OSUCCC – James, where he is interested in the chemistry and biochemistry of fat-soluble vitamins and their bioactive metabolites as potential cancer preventive and treatment agents. One of his recent studies indicates that some ß-apo-carotenoids act through other mechanisms to influence 3T3-L1 adipocyte marker gene expression in adipocyte differentiation. Dr. Curley has co-authored numerous articles in well-respected publications, including Journal of Biological Chemistry, Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics and Biochimica et Biophysica Acta.
