Stanley Lemeshow, PhD, is a member of the Cancer Control Program at the OSUCCC – James, where his research focuses on biostatistics.

In particular, his work involves statistical modeling of medical data, sampling, health disparities and cancer prevention.

He helped create the Hosmer-Lemeshow test, which now is commonly used to assess goodness of fit in logistic regression. It is frequently used to evaluate risk-scoring models.

Dr. Lemeshow has co-authored many articles in well-respected publications, including BMC Pediatrics, BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making, Statistics in Medicine and Environmental Science & Technology.
