Translational Therapeutics

The goal of my research laboratory is to discover factors and pathways that promote immunosuppression and enhance ant-tumor immunity in gastrointestinal malignancies and diseases (i.e., pancreatic cancer, pancreatitis). Our laboratory is investigating new therapeutic and immunotherapy combination approaches in pancreatic cancer in which few efficacious treatment modalities exist. Further, we are also interested in cancer-induced cachexia and therapeutic options for this debilitating disease.
