Overview

The first year of grief is often called the “year of firsts”.  You will face holidays, special days, and other important events for the first time without your loved one.  This grief workshop will focus on basic information about the grief process, what to expect and typical grief experiences and reactions during the first year after a loved one’s death.  Also, coping strategies and resources are provided as well as opportunities for participants to share about their grief experiences if desired.
