Manisha Shah, MD, is a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program at the OSUCCC – James, where her research focuses on discovering new therapies for neuroendocrine, thyroid and adrenal cancers.

In particular, she focuses on phase I, II and III clinical trials, as well as preclinical studies to design clinical trials.

In one of her recent phase II clinical trials, response rates to vascular endothelial growth factor therapy indicated promise for lenvatinib, an oral tyrosine kinase inhibitor, and led to a phase III clinical trial.

Dr. Shah has co-authored many articles in well-respected publications, including Investigational New Drugs, Anticancer Research, Clinical Cancer Research and Journal of Immunology.
